Inventive Hungarian Hat Workshop- Part 4

Covering the entire project...

                                                          ...with layers...

                                                        ...of merino roving...

                                                 ...and repeating the process...

                                                      ...on the reverse side.

Setting aside the body of the hat for a while...

                                                  ...I prepare several cords...

                                                  ...and multi-colored flowers.

                                                A mid-afternoon 'snack break'...

                                               ...with a chewy chocolate treat...

...and a refreshing glass of aromatic elderflower lemonade...

                                                  ...puts everything to rights...

...and I'm able to finish my task. Grin.

Next time: some of my beautiful classmates...

                                                            ...hard at work!

Those flower decorations for the hat are exquisite. Your control of colors and shapes is amazing.

Kathy--Thank-you so much! They were fun to experiment with and you'll see...they add a certain 'je ne sais quoi' to the finished hat! :)
